A 69-year-old male asked:

lungs are clear (ct scan) heart is okay (echocardiogram, ekg) then why oxygen saturation levels are low?

Possibilities...: There are many possible disorders that could have these test results. You should have pulmonary function tests since a ct scan does not tell anything about the function of the pulmonary system; only that the lungs look ok. Musculoskeletal disorders can have test results as you describe. You likely need to see a lung specialist to do a work-up and find out why your pulse ox is low.

Depends: If you mean treat...I think not. You need antibiotics. But there are herbal med that boost your immune system and can speed the healing. Also vit d is very important. Start at 2000 iu per day and then get a blood level in a month.
A 21-year-old member asked:

Are there herbal supplements that can treat a pulmonary aspergillosis lung infection?

2 doctor answers5 doctors weighed in
Dr. Michael Depietro
Pulmonary Critical Care 35 years experience
No: Aspergillosis infects the lung when the immune system does not work well, or when the lung is damaged in some way, such as when there is a cavity or cyst in the lung that can become infected. It requires specific antibiotics, treatment of the underlying immune or lung problem and similar measures. There is no evidence that herbs of any kind do any good.

CT vs MRI: Ct's and mris can focus on different things. Ct is typically used to view bone and look for bleeding while mris are used to view tissues. Also, cts use radiation similar to xrays while and MRI does not expose the patient to any radiation. However, anyone with a magnetic metal in their body can not get an mri, since MRI uses a large magnet.
