Yes but see your Dr: There are many reasons for ankles to swell in lupus but one very concerning reason is if you are losing protein in the urine due to kidney damage. You need to have this evaluated by your doctor.

Yes: Can come from: 1. Lupus (sle) related inflammation of the ankle joints 2. Obesity 3. Venous stasis 4. Some of the medications: nsaids (advil, motrin, eleve) steroids: (prednisone, medrol).
