See a doctor: With out a complete history and an examination it is difficult to speculate. It can be anything from benign to serious. If it does not resolve in a couple of days see your doctor.

Many possibilities: Could be an infection of a tooth or salivary gland, muscle contusion, salivary gland disorder, growth in the jaw bone, enlarged lymph node a skin growth (sebaceous cyst etc.) please see your doctor for an evaluation.
