Healthy lifestyle: The most important thing for you to do is to live a healthy lifestyle. Stop smoking, improve your diet, and exercise. There are many treatment options for chronic pain, but they are most effective when someone is living a healthy lifestyle, especially when that person has a chronic condition like lupus.

Tough question: If your pain is determined to be "neuropathic" there are a number of non narcotic drugs that may be helpful. There are also other drugs to directly treat your sle which may contribute to reduced pain. Check with your rheumotologist and discuss it thoroughly.
