Do our us hospitals innovate a lot less now than in decades past?

Probably Not: I don't believe there is less innovation now than in years past. I believe there is more focus on evidence-based treatments now than in years past. There are some centers where remarkable innovations are being made. However, innovation takes time. When dealing with people's lives and health, we have to be very careful when investigating new treatments and procedures.
