Where does osteoporosis cause bone fractures?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Spine & hips mostly: With osteoporosis, most any bone might be affected, but mostly fractures tend to occur in the spine and upper leg bones (hips). If you are a woman 65 years or older, or have other risk factors like being thin, check with your primary health provider to see about being screened for osteoporosis. A good source for proven prevention tips is an iphone app called my health checklist 2012.
