Clean teeth and gum: Pyorrhea is old term for periodontal disease. It is due to the build up of bacteria in plaque and tarter in your mouth. This all needs to be removed. This will be done by a dentist or hygenist. Proper followup and possible gum surgery by a dentist may be necessary to completely correct problem. Proper oral hygene on your part will be needed to keep it from coming back.
