What is the best approach to quitting smokinh?

Change your life: Start by not buying any cigarettes. Taking a vacation at that time is a helpful thing. Stay away from the usual places you smoked if possible. There are commercial quitting smoking aids and programs for this purpose. Counseling is helpful. Let those around you know you are quitting so they can assist you. Good luck as this is difficult and smoking is so highly addictive.

Quitting smoking.: Cold turkey is the best way, but nicotine or cigarette tapering are viable options as well. For cold turkey, pick a quit day in advance, prepare for it, and go for it. http://www.amazon.com/Thats-Quit-Quitting-Smoking-Forever/dp/0595290469/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1416278193&sr=8-1&keywords=giannone+i+quit
