Question for a pharmacist! is it okay to drink with amitriptyline?

Use with caution: Alcohol will increase CNS depression (drowsiness, slowed reaction times and ...) when consumed with any medications in the same class as Amitriptyline (tricyclic antidepressants). These effects will be greater than experienced with either substance when taken alone.
