Ask your dentist: This really depends on the root canal and the patient. Ask your dentist to be safe.

Depends: It depends on how involved the root canal was. Ask the dentist that performed the root canal.

Exercise: There is no reason for you not to exercise after a root canal unless you are not physically able to do so. Normally it is not recommended to exercise after extractions where there may be bleeding.

You may want to wait: Root canal treatment may cause an inflammatory reaction that results in a slight extrusion (elevation) of the tooth being treated. This minor extrusion can cause pain when the teeth are clenched together. During exercise it is common to clench and therefore you may experience pain. This short lived inflammation should pass in two days. Anti-inflammatory medications like advil (ibuprofen) may relieve it.

Absolutely: Yes it is. You may notice a throb matching your pulse, but not a problem. Good luck.

Wait 24-48 h: If your work-out includes a cardiac component, you may want to wait in order to avoid throbbing in the area.
