A member asked:

When ppl say nasal fracture, does it mean a break of the nasal bone or the cartilage or both?

Either one: Trauma to the nose may break the nasal bones or the nasal cartilages. This can make the nose crooked or lead to nasal congestion or blockage. A nose surgeon should be able to assess the injuries ad advise how best to treat them.

Can be both : Nasal fractures can involve bones, cartilage or both. If the nose is deviated it is usually.

All of the above: A nasal fracture can involve the nasal bones and/or cartilage, particularly the nasal septum.
