A member asked:

Will the cornea the iris when the eye is rubbed or the cornea is poked?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not possible: The iris is inside the eye and you cannot disturb it without breaking through the outer coats of the eye including the cornea. If the cornea is poked with something sharp that penetrates the eye, then the iris could be affected but such an injury should be immediately treated by an ophthalmologist.
