A member asked:

Male/42 chronic renal stones.recent stent removal complicated by deposits on stent. how can i tell if damage was done , still have pain 3 weeks later?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can recheck: The urologist can recheck to see if the amount of pain is more than expected. He'll also help decide if it's worthwhile to look for new stones, which may mean having another imaging procedure; or he may feel the symptoms are from spasms or other non-stone causes. Close follow-up with the urologist is the best bet to help relieve the pain.
