Go to ER: Any extreme bleeding usually means a serious problem. Since you are sitting at a computer emailing it is doubtful that it is extreme and it may be a minor rectal tear or hemorrhoid if there is bright red blood. You may need help with anxiety after getting the rectal bleeding under control.

Hemorrhoid: Sometimes after multiple surgeries you may be taking pain meds which can lead to constipation and straining. This can lead to hemorrhoid a which can cause bleeding. This can be treated with a high fiber diet or laxatives. See a doctor and will be able to tell with physical exam.
