Bruising: Just the opposite. When you bruise it means usually your blood is thinner . Usually when we talk about blood clots , we refer to the blood vessels and not the skin. A blood clot can happen if you have thick blood, or you are immobile or you have some specific blood abnormalities.

Usually not: Typically bruising does not lead to blood clots as often as standard bruising, which should go away in a week or two. If you have an actual mass you may have a hematoma that mat need to be drained.

Not likely: it would be highly unlikely your bruising from airbag trauma would lead to a blood clot that would be dangerous to your health. bruising after trauma is normal and common..it should gradually go away in a couple of weeks.
