Yes : No one will guarantee that the tinnitus will resolve but hopefully it will.

Yes: Tmj symptoms could cause tinnitus. Tmj is very complex and proper diagnosis and treatment plan is very important. The tinnitus could be caused by TMJ but it could also be caused by many other medical conditions so treating TMJ may not necessarily treat the tinnitus. A thorough examination is important.

Maybe: Sorry for the vague answer, but tinnitus (ringing in the ear/ears, ) is poorly understood and difficult to treat. It can be caused by many different sources, including too much Aspirin ingestion, trauma, infections, and tmd. I would first start with an ENT doctor. Tinnitus can be devastating to the sufferer.

Perhaps: TMD or temporo-mandicular disorder is a well documented cause of central tinnitus. It is certainly possible that if the jaw joint or jaw muscle problem is resolvable, the tinnitus may be improved.

Yes, Yes: Yes, but tinnitus is not usually the primary symptom. If the tinnitus is very prominent, I'd see an ENT doc to check it out.

Of course: TMJ may cause tinnitus, or make it worse. See Orofacial Pain specialist for consultation and treatment if needed.
