What is the med ranitidine for?

Decrease acid prod.: Histamine receptor blocker (h2 blocker) which cuts down on a id production. This allows healing of stomach and esophagus inflammation, ulcers. Stronger meds available. Most ulcers due to bacterial infection-cure requires other meds. Safe med. See md if need it often or for more than a few days.
