Tough one: This could be a sprain possiblely a deposit of calcium. If you are having left sided weakness i would see a neurologist immediately.

Not sure: It's too hard to determine based on the information you provided. Not enough history, and a physical examination as well as tests such as xray's may be needed in order to assist in finding out what is wrong. Good luck and hope you feel better.
