Nonspecific symptom: The symptom you're describing is very nonspecific, and can be present in various conditions. A bacterial skin infection like a cellulitis can present with warmth. A viral illness like shingles can also present with a warm feeling in the early part of the illness. Without more info or other associated symptoms, it's difficult to offer more specificity.
