Sometimes: Cath reveals the size of the arteries to the heart. Nuclear tests can demonstrate whether the heart muscle is receiving adequate blood supply. This may help in determining whether a partial blockage is causing a problem. Thus the data from the 2 tests can be complimentary and give a more complete picture of the clinical situation.
