Does smoking marijuana affect or help diverticulitis?

Missing the point: Treatment of diverticulitis is designed to reverse inflammation and infection within affected diverticular pockets. In large part, such treatment aims to avoid development of complications from diverticulitis like perforation, abscess, fistulas, worse. None of these goals are achieved with use of marijuana. Don't waste your time or health.

It is addicting: Marijuana is an addicting , its dangerous addicting nature outweigh its benefits if it has any , it will not help in diverticulitis and stay away from it.

May relieve pain but: Marijuana is often a safe and effective herb for relieving pain, so if you have diverticulitis it may help relieve your symptoms to some degree, but it is not a substitute for other treatments. You may need antibiotics & a liquid diet. The most important aspect is prevention & a high fiber diet may help most. See www.Webmd.Com/digestive-disorders/diverticulitis-diet i also advise taking probiotics.
