Fever: Fever of undetermined origin is the delight of any infectious disease doctor. The bane of our existence, however, are those patients who have been treated with antibiotics absent a specific diagnosis. Suggest you stop taking antibiotics and see a doctor who will begin a systematic detailed evaluation with history, physical exam and basic labs to start. Be patient. It can be worked out.
