Most lung cancer: Presents as a shadow on a chest x-ray, or a nodule (0.5 to 3 inches in size) on a ct. Many patients have symptoms of coughing or spitting up blood which leads to the ct. Lymphoma will have enlarged lymph nodes, sometimes up to 5 or 6 inches (normal is less than 0.5 inch).
