There is na-aion in my optic nerve since 1 month ago, and my optic nerve is bleeding now. can i use high doses of corticosteroid while this bleeding?

No RX for NAAION: There is no good treatment for na aion. Usually there is some hemorrhagic appearance around the nerve. Although there is no specific contraindication to the use of steroid, it's utility has not been established fully for na aion. It is off label. You may consider steroids if there is thought to be an inflammation and your ophthalmologist has informed you of pros and cons.
