Confusing!: First, don't worry. Second ask your doctor to explain again: it's either a confused explanation or maybe you didn't understand what he/she was saying. You cannot see eggs on us, but you can see follicles. So maybe he/she meant you have lots of follicles - but follicles are cysts, so you see the confusion. Not to worry, just need to understand better what's being said.

Fear of multiple gestation: With many mature follicles present there is a great danger of many of them fertilizing. A higher order multiple pregnancy is very dangerous to the babies and mother. Also fear of hyperstimulation wihere the ovaries can become extremely large and fluid can fill both the lungs and abdominal cavity. This medical condition can be very dangerous to the mother's health.
