Sometimes, mostly in the afternoon, i feel like i have fever, but i don't. i find this doesn't occur when i'm on a healthy diet. could i have diabetes?

Probably not: The symptom you describe is not a symptom of diabetes. Diabetes usually causes excessive urination and excessive thirst as presenting symptoms. If it is not controlled it can cause servere disease including coma.
