Bruising: Blood thinners (aspirin, plavix, aggrenox, coumadin, pradaxa, even Ibuprofen or aleve), pristiq, (desvenlafaxine) celebrex...Also vitamin c deficiency. Clotting factor deficiency rarely causes bruising but more bleeding in joints. Also could be low platelets. Need basic blood counts if not one of these medications.

Double check: I am always leery of a DX of polymyositis and fms together. Do you really have polymyositis and is it active? Do you really have fms and does it require medication? They can coexist but ...
