1st look for a cause: If this is new, a search for a cause is appropriate. Overactive thyroid, infection, anemia, lung, heart, or kidney disease, hormonal problems, cancer, malnutrition, reaction to herbal, over-the-counter, or prescription medications can be the culprit. Sometimes, there can be an abnormality of the heart's electrical system. If no cause if found, the symptoms can be managed with simple medications.
