Phyto-estrogens: In the waste water of a biodiesel plants, a soy milk factory, a barbecue meat processing facility, and a dairy factory phyto-estrogens have been found in much higher concentrations than are typically found in nature. Phyto-estrogens mimic the effects of estrogens, and when taken up by fish and down the road by humans, the biggest concern is that they may have a impact on the genome.
