My 3 year old has a swollen lymph nodule in neck. both sides are swolllen, but 1 is 2cm. dr placed on antibiodics, but it just grew. what is next step?

It is common for the: Lymph gland to continue to enlarge for the first day or so on medications. You are playing a catch up game with the germ invading the gland.Often a heating pad at low heat can help more abx containing blood to flow thru the gland.Sometimes the abx will not work & the gland will need to be drained.I haven't seen that happen with a neck gland so far.Have it rechecked with your dr.
