Time for recheck: Your story line is confusing.Several weeks of cough & wheeze is common in bronchiolitis & if the kid feeding ok & playful a 3-5 day rx of Prednisone might help some.I would want a chest x-ray to know if there was more than a viral process going on. If the kid is feeding poorly & seldom plays, a recheck is needed.
