Multiple options: If you have family I would make sure to get life insurance if you can afford the rates & make sure you have your affairs are in order. Live each day to the fullest and let life happen. The only precaution that would be reasonable is to stop. Accept the fact that some live a long life in spite of smoking & more do not. Once you develop a related chronic disease or cancer you can't stop it anyway
