Common: Grinding and popping of joints is common as we get older. If you have a history of trauma to your neck or back, some evaluation with xrays is needed to confirm no fractures. Our discs wear out over time, so most of us will have areas that are bone on bone. This doesn't have to be painful but can limit our ability to move as freely because the joints fuse together. Don't try to make things pop.
