Find the cause first: Assuming that one's liver enzymes are elevated, eliminating all food/drink that can raise the enzymes is important. However, should also insist on finding the cause and not assume it is only due to occasional wine. Other causes include medications (don't stop medications without a doctor's recommendation) and infections. Additional blood tests can help with this. See your doctor for more info.
