A member asked:

The wrist has no pain then you fall and instant pain, can that be arthritis?

Possible: When you fall the first thing to rule out is a fracture. Arthritis may have been there as well before the fall and became symptomatic because of the fall.

Possibly: I would consult with your hand surgeon to obtain radiographs (x-rays) of the wrist.
