A member asked:

My daughter has a large lump on the inside of her eyelid--what could this be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Inflamed tear gland: There are glands within the eyelids that generate the tear fluid.Sometimes they can become chronically inflamed. When medication doesn't help the problem settle down, an ophthalmologist may need to open this from the inner surface of the eyelid & remove the inflamed material.
