Depends: Depends on what the cause of the discoloration is. Tetracycline or fluorosis stains are not very responsive to whitening. Normal stains over time typically are responsive to whitening treatments. Any covering over the teeth or parts of the teeth can alter the color. These include veneers and crowns. See your general Dentist or a Prosthodontist for evaluation and tx options. Good luck.

Treatment options: to whiten teeth can vary depending on the cause of the discoloration. Professional teeth whitening is a simple, non-invasive dental treatment used to change the color of natural tooth enamel. Porcelain veneers is another option. Se your dentist for evaluation and treatment.
