Yes generally: If there is active decay then yes get them filled. If the holes are caused by a misaligned bite (unusual wear) then i would get the bite fixed and see if fillings are required later.

Absolutetly: These holes called cavities can become bigger causing the tooth to hurt and become infected. Have the fillings now as they are not expensive.

Yes: Holes in teeth are usually cavities, an infection of the hard part of the tooth. As with any infection, it should be eliminated immediately. If problem is from wear of misaligned teeth, straightening may be indicated. Don't delay, the longer it takes to get your teeth fixed, the bigger the problem, the more expensive the treatment. Call your dentist today for an appointment.

Holes in teeth. : Absolutely! if you had a hole in your hand it might be painful and you would want to get it fixed, so it goes for your teeth. Cavities untreated can lead to infection and loss of tooth, inability to chew properly which can lead to digestion problems. Your teeth and gums are a primary player in your overall health, take care of them like they are.
