No: Emergency contraceptive pills should be taken as soon as possible after unprotected sex. It is particularly effective if taken within one hour of otherwise unprotected sex. Emergency contraceptives do not reliably protect beyond the day they are used. Plan b is available over-the-counter at retail pharmacies for about $25-$35.

What ???? !!!!: Plan B is an EMERGENCY contraceptive to be used AFTER an episode of FAILED contraception. It is NOT as EFFECTIVE as a regular oral contraceptive. This is NOT a good idea.
