Ankle fracture : Healing and recovery depends on many things and can last up to a year if there are complications. Generally, a fracture starts to "heal" the moment it happens and radio graphically, the healing can be detected around 6-8 weeks. Full healing and remodeling of bone can take 3-6 months and soft tissue swelling can last for a year. Rehab can usually start 2-4 weeks after signs of bone healing begin.

Varies...: It really depends on what you mean by "heal." most of the process will occur in 5-8 weeks and allow you to get back to normal activities. But the body is nowhere near done with the fracture site. Bone will be laid down and then remodeled well after this initial process has occurred.

Depends: The location, stability, and injuring force can determine how fast a fracture will heal. In general, most will heal anywhere between 4 and 8 weeks when addressed with proper treatment.
