Warm compresses: Most small chalazia resolve without intervention. Larger ones may be treated with warm compresses for 15 minutes, up to four times daily. Most clear spontaneously in weeks to months on their own. If you have symptoms from a chalazion that will not go away, you can be referred to an eye doctor for incision and curettage or direct injection of glucocorticoids.
