Is it safe to drink alcohol moderately (for ex: 2or 3 glasses of wine on a saturday night) with pkd?

May raise uric acid : Alcohol interferes with the elimination of uric acid which will probably already be elevated with pkd. This maylead to an increased chance of experiencing a epidose of gout. Occasional consuption should not be a problem, but you will need to be well hydrated to help eliminate uric acid.
