Is dermabrasion or laser to effective to treat rosacea?

Vascular lasers: Dermabrasion would not be appropriate for rosacea, in fact would make it worse. Microdermabrasion also could exacerbate rosacea. Noninvasive lasers such as pulsed dye laser, ktp, or nd:yag lasers, ipl (intense pulsed light) can help greatly with the flushing and redness associated with rosacea.

Certian Help: Microdermabrasion is not recommended for rosacea- it is too abrasive. We recommend ipl laser along with a prescription strength cream.
