Are joint pains, weakness, and pain associated with anything other than fibromyalgia?

Yes: There are a lot of diseases that cause pain, joint pain and weakness. There are several autoimmune diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, polymyositis, and mixed connective tissue disease. Infections like lyme and endocrine disorders like hypothyroid. A complete evaluation should be done to rule out other causes, before a diagnosis of fibromyagia can be made.

Yes this can be from: Autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis or lupus as well as metabolic diseases such as related to the thyroid. Even infectious disease such as lyme disease could be in the differential diagnosis or list of possibilities. You need to have a complete evaluation by your physician as fibromyalgia is a diagnosis reached after excluding other possibilities.
