No: Alphagan or brimonidine drops are a in a class of drugs known as alpha-agonists. In normal adults, this drug does not cross the blood-brain barrier and enter the brain's circulation. In small children, very elderly patients and in some medical conditions where the barrier is not intact, sleepiness may occur as a side effect. You should report this and check with your doctor.
