How long are test and rest periods for a myelogram?

Varies, a few hours: It depends on your body size, the space between the spinal bones (vertebrae), but usually once the needle is in and spinal fluid flows, it is fairly quick. Dye is injected and the needle removed. The table is tilted to make the dye move around and pictures taken. Then a ct is typically fast (10 minutes). Observation is about an hour after that.

Myleogram ia about : 15 to 30 minute followed usually by a ct scan of 5-10 minutes length and you should take it easy for a day.

Not long: The myelogram only takes about 10 minutes. Just take it easy for a day or so afterwards. Check out Spine-health.com.
