Progeria: The average age of death is 14 years old. Most cases of Progeria are due to new genetic mutations. Margaret (Meg) Casey was believed to have been the oldest surviving victim of Hutchison-Gilford progeria syndrome when she died at age 29. Tiffany Wedekind has an inherited form of Progeria (autosomal dominant genetic disorder) & must be about 42 years old.
