Can a car accident affect your wisdom teeth positively or negatively?

Depends: If you sustain trauma to your jaws and the wisdom teeth fracture then this is negative. Unlikely for a car accident to be positive for your wisdom teeth.

Unusual question: I'm not aware of any effect that a car accident would have on your wisdom teeth, unless you broke your jaw. We know that mandible fractures are more common in areas of impacted teeth, such as wisdom teeth, particularly at the angle of the jaw. However, if you didn't break your jaw, there should be no effect on your wisdom teeth.

Yes ,it could be: Any trauma to your body can have lasting affects. A jolt to your neck or head from a car accident may stir a problem that has been dormant for years. See your dentist for a checkup and let them evaluate your symptoms. They can lead you in the right direction.

What's happening?: Trauma to the jaw can break teeth, break the jaw none, effect tmjoints. I can't see anything positive resulting from a car accident ( other than learning to be more careful). Why are you asking? Can you be more specific?
