Common problem!: Cheek bite as a result of wisdom tooth growing is quite common. It is likely that the wisdom tooth did not in functionally erupt. It is best to have your dentist check to see if you have sufficient space for functional use of this wisdom tooth. If not, your dentist may advise that you have the wisdom tooth/teeth removed.

Have It Removed: Constant biting of the cheek can create some serious problems, as well as some significant discomfort. If the wisdom tooth is not erupting in the mouth into a proper and functional position, your dentist may recommend its removal.
