No not unless you : No, not unless you were designed upside down! bulging discs in any location are not a source of pain but normal findings on imaging studies. Discs can be a source of pain whether normal looking, bulging or herniated. The most common reason for hand numbers is a carpal tunnel syndrome. Try wearing wrist splints at night to see if they help . If not, see your doctor.
